shd graphics was born out of wanting to continue creative work that included clients in the process of design. Client opportunities include logo & identity design, sales collateral, PowerPoint presentations, packaging and banners for regional events. Including the primary design function, responsibilities also include sales, accounting and marketing for new projects. Other opportunities were expanded to include social media planning, web editing, creation and distribution of press releases and negotiating contracts for advertising placement.

Primarily tasked with building the brand for Eight Eleven Inc. my work also including conceptualizing, creating initial drafts and managing all projects with a junior designer through to production and completion. Additional responsibilities included administration (estimates, project plans and negotiating with vendors), management (work schedules and distribution of projects) and research (finding project specific vendors, reviewing voice talent for Flash videos). Assistance was also provided to the other team members including Web (creation of Web-ready graphics and site designs) and copywriting (proof-reading and editing as needed).
